Accountable to lobby to guaranty sustainable and profitable growth of the business
Accountable for regulatory compliance of products, labels and off-pack communication
Accountable for the regulatory watch activities related to products composition and packaging

YOUR MISSION

1. Management of the Regulatory Team

Managing 2 engineers
Ensure an efficient Regulatory team organization and process to contribute to global R&D process optimization
Coordinate the team actions in line with the BU and Brands’ strategic plan, and coach team members on their projects
Develop team member by fixing objectives and appraisal
Ensure that each team member has a skills development plan and a career project

2. Horizon scanning & Lobbying: guaranty sustainable and profitable growth of the business

Horizon scan regulatory evolutions, anticipate and alert on potential issues for our business
Communicate to Reg community and share information with relevant internal stakeholders
Contribute to external affairs by representing Suntory in trade associations locally and at EU level
Propose and defend advocacy/positions to influence on technical and regulatory matters among local, European Trade associations or in front of authorities
Lead the topics related to information to consumer (liquid and pack), Nutrition & sustainable labelling for the BU and contribute for SBFE

3. Regulatory compliance & Product development

Ensure compliance of the recipes, labels and off-pack communications of our beverages
Partnership with R&D and marketing teams in innovation projects, ensuring regulatory constraints are considered, identifying limitations or risks and proposing win-win solutions.

4. Technical support for internal stakeholders

Give regulatory and technical support to R&D team and other departments (consumer care, quality, master data and sales) related to liquid composition & packaging characteristics.

Profil recherché

YOUR ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Food Science Engineer or University Degree (Master 2) in Food Science & Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or similar.
Experience in Food Industry, preferably Beverages
7 to 15 years in a similar role
