Commodity Analyst
This is a key position within our Intersnack Procurement team, with high visibility and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
The Commodity Analyst is responsible for providing key insights for our Category Managers for Commodities. They will provide fundamental and technical data and trends in the commodity markets. By setting up procedures and systems to embed market intelligence into the organization, the position holder will influence key buying decision, particularly in the areas of Maize (Corn), Wheat, Sugar and vegetable oil. It will be key for this position to create and maintain a network with our commodity managers and internal & external stakeholders. They will also play a crucial role in the hedging and risk mitigation strategies of Intersnack Procurement.
The Commodity Analyst reports to the Head of Commodities and will ideally be based in Düsseldorf, DE or Doetinchem, NL.

A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Agronomics, Finance or Business
3+ years’ work experience in a similar field
Experience with working with large sets of data.
Prior experience in Research or Commodity trading / Brokerage is a plus
Assertive, convincing and with a commercial and competitive mindset
Analytical skills with a strong sense of curiosity
Strong networking skills
